In memory of JOHN THORNTON SMITH 2nd son of JAMES SMITH, Esq. of Malton obt. 18th March 1871 aged 25 years.
A memorial chair. John Thornton Smith was the second son of James Smith, who is remembered in the Raising of Lazarus window (No. 37).
